What Happens Each Week
WATCH SOMETHING TOGETHER
About 10 minutes
Each week begins with a short video I carefully choose for the experience it can help create between you. It gives both of you the same engaging starting point and something outside the relationship to notice and respond to together. You begin with shared attention rather than either spouse beginning with a need or a problem.
HAVE THE CONVERSATION
About 20 minutes
After the video, a professionally recorded, neutral voice guides you through the conversation. Each question and prompt is spoken and also appears in text on the screen. The guidance tells you whose turn it is to speak, when to listen, and when to reverse roles.
PRACTICE A BETTER WAY OF
BEING TOGETHER
10 weekly experiences
Each experience gives you another opportunity to practice staying engaged rather than shutting down or getting hostile, giving your full attention, expressing yourself well, and understanding each other more accurately. Through that repetition, returning to connection can become more familiar and easier to access in everyday life.
You don't need more communication tips and how-tos
The couples I work with already have enough of them. They know they should listen, stay calmer, understand before responding, and stop repeating the same pattern. Many couples know more than they can live out and put into practice.
The difficulty begins when a tone, look, or shift in expression signals something is wrong. Each brain begins anticipating interruption, correction, anger, or withdrawal and starts protecting before the conversation has had a chance to go well. At that point, remembering another communication tip is rarely enough.
The Communication Cure® helps you put what you know into practice. Across 10 guided experiences, you practice paying attention, taking turns, listening, and responding more fully to each other. You experience yourselves doing something different together.
Feel Heard, Known, and Understood - and Finish the Conversation
Closer Than You Began.
The Communication Cure® gives both brains new evidence that the two of you can stay present, listen, feel heard, and finish more connected. Repeated across 10 weeks, that different path can become more familiar and easier to find when your conversations are no longer being guided.
You're Communicating Before Either of You Says a Word.
Your brain is already reading your spouse’s eyes, expression, tone, pace, and presence. When those signals have come to predict criticism, anger, correction, or withdrawal, your brain begins protecting before you have had a chance to use what you know.
The Communication Cure® changes the input both brains are receiving. The shared video, music, pacing, eye contact, fuller answers, protected listening, and role reversal help both of you settle and remain relational.
That is how both of you can feel heard, understand each other more accurately, and finish the conversation more connected.
The conversation is guided for you.
I have already built the entire experience—from the opening video through the final question. The page tells you what comes next, whose turn it is to speak, and when the two of you reverse.
Neither spouse has to decide where to begin, think of the next question, monitor whether the conversation is fair, or figure out how to bring it to a meaningful close.
That leaves you free to do the parts only you can do: share from your heart and give your attention to what your spouse wants you to understand.
Your Relationship Has to EXPERIENCE the Change.
A book can help you understand yourself. A podcast may give you better language. A workbook can help you organize your thoughts. All of that can be useful.
But none of them can replace what occurs when your spouse’s eyes stay with you, their willingness is tangible, and their thoughtful responses show how much they do care about the relationship.
That is why information can produce insight without producing the therapeutic result a couple hoped for. Each person may understand more, but the relationship has not experienced anything different.
The Communication Cure® brings both of you into the same guided experience. Understanding is helpful. Being heard and understood by your spouse changes the relationship.
Strengthen Your Connection So You Stay Together in Difficult Conversations.
Conversations about sex, money, parenting, disappointment, and the future ask more of both of you. They require enough brain capacity to remain present and relational rather than defaulting to attacking, defending, correcting, or shutting down.
That capacity is difficult to build while discussing one of the more charged subjects in your marriage.
That is why The Communication Cure® does not begin with your most charged issue. It begins from a calmer, neutral starting point. Across 10 guided experiences, you build small wins, greater trust, and more ability to stay engaged when something important is being said.
You're not simply having 10 better conversations. You're building more of the capacity you will need for the conversations that matter most.
“What was that?!”
“We haven’t talked like that in years,
maybe ever.”
In my office, I have watched couples finish a Communication Cure® conversation and sit quietly for a few seconds, surprised by what just happened between them.
They laughed. They cried. They learned something meaningful about the person they had already lived with for years. Sometimes one spouse finally heard what the other had been trying to say but had never been able to finish.
The surprise comes because neither spouse had to become the counselor, persuade the other person to open up, or drag the conversation somewhere meaningful. They followed the experience and found themselves interested in each other again.
What I watched happen in my office is what I built The Communication Cure® to help the two of you experience at home. When you finish the 30 minutes glad you sat down together, you have seen something important: what is still possible between you. That gives you a strong reason to look at your marriage with more hope and come back the following week ready to build on it.
What Happened When They Tried It at Home
“We experienced our first talk this morning. It was REALLY good!
I can open up with my husband easily, but opening up has been very difficult for him.
He cried when he answered two of the questions. Of course, there were some funny moments too.
The Communication Cure® was very helpful in opening the heart to share.
I am looking forward to going through the rest of these together.
This has been the main thing missing in our relationship from the very beginning.”

After purchasing, you will create your account and register for access to The Communication Cure® site. You can sign up for the weekly emails that provide a direct link when each new Talk becomes available. Your spouse can also sign up if they would like to receive those notifications. Your first email should arrive within a few minutes.
Set aside about 30 uninterrupted minutes in a quieter setting, preferably at home. Use a laptop or tablet rather than a phone so both of you can clearly experience the video, music, professional voice guidance, and words on the screen. There is nothing to study or prepare. This is an experience not a course of any type.

Coach Keith
Nearly every week couples would ask me:
“What do we do next week when you are not sitting at our kitchen table?
We need more of this."
MY OFFICE TO YOUR HOME
From 30 Years of Leading Couples Through 'Impossible' Conversations
Some couples came into my office with a well established safe distance from each other. They carried thoughts and feelings inside them they had decided could never be shared. I helped them lower those walls and have conversations they once believed were impossible.
I sat across from them, fed them questions to repeat and discuss, reminded them to take a breath, prompted eye contact, and sometimes asked them to hold hands. Those things may sound small. They weren’t. They helped them feel safe, see each others hearts, and begin changing what each brain feared/expected from the other.
Couples could take the progress and closeness home, but they could not take me. I realized though that I could put the heart of what I was doing into something they could experience on their couch, not mine.
That became The Communication Cure®. I combined what 30 years with real couples taught me with the scientific understanding of how the brain functions in relationship. There is a lot beneath these experiences that you never need to study or even understand. You only need to experience the benefit.
What happened in my office did not have to stay there. The guidance that has helped turn around marriages on the brink is now available for couples to use at home, without my ongoing involvement or one spouse trying to take my place. This is not a stack of generic prompts or, even worse, AI-generated relationship content. Every Talk grew out of in-person work with real couples and what I learned about helping two people hear each other, change old patterns, and open their hearts again.
“The changes we experienced didn’t fade.
We were hurt, distant, and stuck. Keith created safety, asked the right questions, and found the core of our issues. The changes we made didn’t fade. They’ve lasted the last 15 years.”

Husband
You may have seen this online:
“It only takes
one of you to
save your
marriage.”
Eventually, it takes both of you.
One person can begin changing what they bring into the marriage. They can stop feeding a destructive pattern, take responsibility for their part, and make it easier for their spouse to move toward them.
But one person cannot create a mutually satisfying and enjoyable marriage alone.
“Both of you” does not have to mean both of you sitting in a counselor’s office. It can begin much more comfortably at home. The both of you can sit together on your own couch, watch a short video 'Netflix and chill' style, and then talk about what you watched.
That makes the invitation to your partner much easier:
“Will you sit with me, watch something together, and talk about it for 20 minutes?”
The two of you do not need to feel equally hopeful or enthusiastic. One spouse may make the invitation. You both need enough willingness to sit down and have the experience together.
That is enough to begin.
YOUR FIRST STEP IS 30 MINUTES TOGETHER. Simple Enough.
Once your spouse is willing to sit down with you, watch something together, and talk about it for 20 minutes, you have what you need to begin.
The Communication Cure® gives the two of you a new guided experience each week for 10 weeks. Your first Talk is available immediately. There is nothing to study or prepare, and neither spouse has to lead the other through it.
You can simply sit down together today and begin.
